Permanent list of electors

The prime source of information used to draw up the school list of electors is the permanent list of electors (PLE). Unless they have a child who attends an English-language school or they have chosen to be registered on the list of electors of an English-language school board, all persons registered on the PLE are entered on the list of electors of the French-language school board that serves their place of residence.
